About EverLife's Growing Team
My Story:
Amanda Joosten
Founder Of EverLife
Amanda Joosten is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Functional Mobility Practitioner, and the founder of EverLife Functional Wellness Center. Her philosophy is simple: helping people move better, feel better, and live better by improving how the body functions in everyday life.
Whether you're walking, exercising, lifting, gardening, golfing, working, or simply trying to get through the day with less pain and effort, Amanda believes that long-term health and quality of life often come down to how efficiently the body moves. By combining therapeutic massage and bodywork, corrective exercise, movement education, and functional wellness strategies, she helps clients reduce unnecessary strain and tension on the body while building a stronger foundation for lasting mobility, independence, and overall well-being.
Amanda brings together more than 25 years of professional and educational experience spanning physical rehabilitation, industrial sports medicine, massage therapy, corrective exercise, and functional wellness.
Her background includes extensive work as a Physical Therapist Assistant, Licensed Massage Therapist, and work as an Industrial Sports Medical Professional. Since then she is continuing her education as a Personal Trainer/Corrective Exercise Specialist as an ongoing pursuit of continuing her expansive education focused on evidence-informed care.
Although she still works in Physical Therapy she does not provide Physical Therapy services here at EverLife. Currently, her current role has shifted from Healthcare to Wellness Model Support Services such as Massage Therapy & Bodywork and Functional Mobility/Corrective Exercise Therapy.
Amanda's skillset also draws from real life experiences. Growing up on her Family owned Wisconsin dairy farm and saw mill company gave Amanda a firsthand appreciation for the physical demands that work, repetitive movement, stress, and aging place on the body. That practical perspective continues to shape her compassionate, down-to-earth approach and reinforces her belief that wellness should fit into everyday life—not the other way around. Throughout her career, in healthcare she has worked with individuals experiencing orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, post-operative, and age-related conditions affecting strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and overall function. Her experience also includes specialized work in geriatrics, corporate wellness, injury prevention, ergonomics, stroke recovery, fall prevention, functional aging, and post-rehabilitation care. These experiences have provided her with a deep understanding of how posture, body mechanics, movement patterns, muscle function, and mobility influence a person's ability to remain active, independent, and engaged in the activities they enjoy. Knowledge she utilizes everyday with her clients. Today, Amanda brings all of this experience together at EverLife Functional Wellness Center, where she develops individualized, evidence-informed care plans centered on prevention, recovery, maintenance, and performance. Through therapeutic massage and bodywork, corrective exercise, movement education, and functional wellness strategies, her goal is to help clients relieve pain, reduce stress, improve mobility, prevent future injury, and support long-term function. Rather than simply providing temporary relief, Amanda's focus is on helping clients build healthier movement patterns and practical habits that support a more active, independent, and fulfilling life for years to come.
